Course Description:

Beginner Korean 1 (Fall 2014) - Beginner Korean 1 assumes no prior knowledge of Korean. The course begins with an introduction to the Hangeul system. Students are also introduced to the basic pronunciation patters and sentence structures of the Korean language. Emphasis is on oral communication skills needed in everyday life. Topics include greetings, introductions, numbers, places, time expressions, ordering at a restaurant, shopping, and talking about daily life.

Course Description:

Intermediate Korean 1 (Fall 2014) - Intermediate Korean 1 is developed for those who have just mastered Elementary Korean. This course more focuses on developing to be fluent in speaking and listening as well as improving more accuracy in writing and listening. Themes are various from daily issues such as greetings and shopping to basic social functions including job interview and work.
