Course Description:
Beginner Korean 2 (Spring 2013) - Beginner Korean 2 is a continuation course of Elementary Korean 1. This course focuses on expanding vocabulary that can be directly applied to practical situations such as asking the time and asking for directions. In this course, more expressions are introduced to help students accomplish essential social functions such as making suggestions and making requests. Topics include time, appointment, locations and directions, and phone call.

Intermediate Korean 2 (Spring 2013) - Korean Intermediate 2 is a continuation of Intermediate Korean 1. The course continues developing students’ oral skills, with increased emphasis on the Korean culture for successful communication in real life. The course consists of vocabulary building, different levels of politeness, and expanded repertoire of sentence endings. Topics include hospital, advice, suggestion, shopping, experience, hobbies, employment, fashion and change.
